It's been a while since I have taken out the time to update everyone on what's happening with the site. Some of the MP3's for the Folklore Center have had their names updated. - New Song 2.mp3 = Cripples Cry
- Something.mp3 (because I didn't know what else to call it) = Green Rocky Road
I will be receiving all the MP3's on a CD, this time in 128kbps format (most are in 96kbps at the moment) and hopefully they will arrive and I can upload them before my travels overseas.
I am getting most of the structure of the new site together and I am impressed with many of the features that I have been able to integrate. At the moment, these are: - Better layed out discography, with song times etc.
- Ability to comment on news and articles
- Upgraded forum with better navigation
- Integrated Chat
- Private Messaging (ability to see other members online and message them)
- Much better improvements in administration area (for me!)
I'd like to have it all up and running before I leave here for 6 weeks.. Dream Brother - David Browne I am about halfway through the book at the moment. David Browne seems to carry this chip on his shoulder throughout the whole book against Tim. It seems that David thinks Tim was brattish, guilt-ridden and carried complexes from his childhood with his father throughout his whole life. Whilst there may be truth in what he says, a more balanced approach may be fitting. If you want a good chronology of how Tim and Jeff's career progressed and how they happened, then I would say this book is for you but be careful that it doesn't leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth about Tim.. although, if you are a Jeff buckley fan then you would probably enjoy this book as David obviously thinks highly of Jeff and carries that theme throughout the whole book (so far) I haven't read Lee Underwood's book as yet, but I would think it would probably be best starting there and then reading David Browne's book afterwards. ** These are just my own humble opinions.
